This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic geologist/geotechnical/civil engineering student looking for more than a desk job.
Your roles and responsibilities will include:
•Assisting in conducting geotechnical site classifications and investigation
•Assisting in geotechnical site inspections at construction sites around the ACT
•Writing reports associated with findings from fieldwork
•Undertaking any ad-hoc initiatives and tasks, as directed by senior team members
•Perform duties in accordance with project processes, systems, and procedures
Minimum requirements to be considered for the role:
•Must be in their final year of a degree in geology/earth sciences,geotechnical or civil engineering
•Experience with Excel, Word, and other related software
•Must be energetic, flexible, hardworking, keen to learn and prepared to spend time working in the field
•Must have drivers’licence and access to car(fuel expenses will be reimbursed)

Allowance : $2800 per month (based on a 35 hour week)
